Contribution to the chapter “Rural-Urban Connections,” which explores how food systems connect rural and urban territories through flows of food, resources, people, and knowledge.

The work uses a systemic approach to highlight that access to nutritious and sustainable food depends on the articulation between production, logistics, markets, public policies, and consumption—connecting different scales and actors.

From this perspective, the chapter proposes ways to strengthen these connections, contributing to fairer, more resilient food systems aligned with the sustainability of territories.
